I’m not sure if you’ve heard of a game called Runescape?  Well if you have I’m sure you’ll agree its a great game. Anyhow there is a new CEO of the company Jagex, and he stated he loves the young ones coming in on the gaming world. As i read it over and over again, I decided I am very interested in gaming and computers, so why not do something to do with games. My question is what would suit me best and from 13 years old how would I be able to help myself from now till then?? Just to help with your answer I love to be interactive with people in games and talk to people and get feedback along side helping people , but I love to come up with ideas and so on. My question is which role would suit me and how would I pursue it from now on? Forwarding any good websites and so on would be a big help also thank you. also do you know of any free web design software because I don’t know if word press which I think is what your using is free.

I am happy that you have found what you think will be a very interesting and joyful career for you.  It is important for each of us to be happy with our work or jobs if possible, to cut back on the stress.

I am familiar with Jagex and Runescape. Jagex actually stands for JAva Gaming EXperts.  This name came about because they exclusively write their games using the Java language.

The career path you are looking for is called Video Game Design.  In this area of study, there are several additional directions in which you could go such as Graphic Design/Web Design, Game Art and Design, 3D Modeling, Media Arts and Animation and many others.
