would like to wish everyone a

Very Merry Christmas!

I am blessed to come from a close knit family, and that makes for really special holidays.  When your family comes together under one roof for any get together, it should be considered a blessing.  Life is precious, and we need to embrace these moments that will one day become a mere memory of a loved one.

We have had a few holidays when not everyone was able to make it for a visit.  These holidays were not the same, but we did try to make the best of it.  We would always call our missing loved ones on that special day just to let them know we missed them and were thinking of them.  It was still really great just to hear their voices.

This year, make it a point to even go out of your way( if you need to) in order to call or visit your loved ones and to let them know just how much they really mean to you.

Christmas should not be based solely on who gives the most or the best gifts.

You are taking Christ out of Christmas when we let our focuses dwell on material items.

I would also like to encourage everyone to read the Birth Of Christ from the bible to their children or other family members. The account of Jesus’ birth can be found in Matthew 1:18 – 2:23 and Luke 2:1 – 24

I will now close with a poem I wrote many years ago.

I DREAM OF CHRISTMAS

I DREAM OF CHRISTMAS

AS BEING A SNOWY WHITE

WAKING IN THE MORNING

SEEING EVERYONE’S FACES SHINING BRIGHT

I SEE MOM, DAD,

MY SIBLINGS TOO

THE ONLY ONES MISSING

IS SANTA AND YOU!!!

    Dear Marsha,

Hey it’s your old buddy Brandon and I finally figured out how to work this site. You know I’m a goofball but I’ll keep this professional. I did enjoy talking to you again and glad that you got this site up and running as planned. Absolutely great to have another writer friend. Keep true to your true dear I know you are an angel in disguise anyway. You always have been.

Christmas reflects a time of joy and peace and goodwill
When the light was shown for the first time on the earth people rejoiced for the coming of the lord to be and soon we fell in love with his spirit and peaceful hand
When you think of how he gave his blood for you to be be at peace as woman and man
Did you give thanks this christmas for his birth and everything good in your new year that came to your fill

Remember the reason of the season is love
Regardless of what class you are what your beliefs are
We’re all on this planet together and love should be the goal no matter the seaon that comes with presents small and large
The greatest gift is that you love who you are it shows from above

just read your poem Marsha. You have a wonderful spirit. Your heart is full of joy. Christmas must have many found memmories for you? I wish I could’ve known you other than just online. I definately could’ve used a few more friends that I can talk to about anything. My real life friend Adam is the only one I can depend on in my hometown. The other ones are there but I look at them as just aquainances you know? I spend more time talking to people online to others than Adam. I have some amazing friends online though. Just wish the planet wasn’t so huge. Even though sometimes you may just find someone across the globe. That is trully wonderful you don’t have to see their face and you can see their heart better if they are true. Very many blessings to George and you!

This was supposed to be a simple comment about how lovely your poem is you have talent too like me as you say. I do believe I do but I don’t like to brag even if I showoff. Anyway sorry for the long letter wishing you a happy late christmas and a happy new year!
